    After The Lights Go Out

    After The Lights Go Out

Volume 5 Underground by UTS Vertigo

Gianna Hewitt-Brown is a Sydney artist, working
predominantly in video and documentary photography.
After the lights go out (2020) responds to the rise of
underground alternative queer nightlife. The series began
in East LA and continued in Sydney, depicting a handful of
party goers and performers shot at venues like Scum Club
    and Honcho Disko.

    Same Same But Different

    Same Same But Different

'Same, Same But Different’ challenges the taboo of using the same idea twice. Over 3 years, Max Siedentopf sent a series of ideas in the shape of drawings and short descriptions to over 50 international photographers to quite literally photograph the same idea.

"I have been working on Naturally over the last three years, going on adventures into the wilderness and collaborating with male dancers and acrobats to create spontaneous performances documented with the camera. In scenes ranging from mysterious to emotive, the landscape and body is transformed by my addition of red, black and white color pigments." Bertil Nilsson
